Growing
ethically

Charters, whistleblowing, responsible purchasing, GDPR: ethics is not for show. It guides every decision we make — educational, human and commercial.

Ethics guides our choices as much as our everyday actions.

In each of our settings, ethics comes down to simple principles — doing what is right, keeping our word, acting in the child's best interests and ensuring a respectful, safe working environment.
01
Our ethical approach

Concrete practices for shared trust

Our commitment rests on concrete measures: charters, training, reporting mechanisms and monitoring. Together, they foster a climate of trust and shared responsibility, for the benefit of children, families and teams.

2 charters for every new employee

The Ethics Charter and the Safeguarding Charter — given to every new joiner on day one. They set out the principles of integrity, respect and child-centred care that guide every professional.

Confidential reporting tools

Available to families and employees. Rigorous procedures govern how every report is handled, ensuring confidentiality and systematic follow-up.

Ethics and risk prevention training

Ongoing training in ethics and risk prevention, built into development pathways in every country. Regular awareness sessions on children's rights, child wellbeing and professional boundaries.

Ethical guidelines and reporting mechanisms

A structured framework: clear ethical guidelines, an accessible reporting tool and documented procedures for handling reports — ensuring a swift and fair response to every situation.

02
Responsible purchasing policy

Every purchase is a choice. We own it.

Behind every product, service or contract are choices that matter: for children's health, for the environment and for the local economy. In France, a 2024–2027 sustainable and responsible purchasing plan formalises this commitment.

The 2024–2027 plan (France)

  • Transparency and ethics — respect for human rights throughout the supply chain.
  • Social inclusion — working with ESATs, which employ people with disabilities, for landscaping, recycling and laundry services.
  • Carbon footprint reduction — target: –3,880 tonnes of CO₂ across the supply chain by 2033.
  • Circular economy — reuse, local supply chains and special attention to high-impact products (toys, textiles, cleaning supplies).
  • Procurement risk mapping with the AFNOR tool — an ethical, social and environmental risk assessment, segment by segment.

In every tender

  • Weighted CSR criteria built into the evaluation grid from the outset.
  • A Supplier Ethics Charter signed by every new partner.
  • Specific clauses on environmental impact and social commitment in framework agreements.
  • Supplier CSR committees and an annual survey of key suppliers.
  • Quarterly review meetings to ensure ongoing dialogue and continuous improvement.

03
Data protection

Children's data security: a non-negotiable pillar

Protecting the personal data of children, families and employees is an essential pillar of our responsibility. It rests on strict compliance with applicable regulations, particularly the GDPR, and a clear organisation that secures every stage of sensitive data processing.

GDPR compliance across the organisation

Procedures set out in practical guides, educational newsletters and training modules. Rules on photographing children, data retention periods and secure data transfers.

Cybersecurity programme

Online training modules, phishing simulation campaigns and awareness assessments. The goal: prevent incidents and make good habits second nature for every team.
