Growing
as a
team
Attract, train, retain: 14,500 professionals bring our nurseries and schools to life every day. Their wellbeing is our priority — and our responsibility.
01
Attracting and recruiting talent
Inspiring careers, modernising recruitment
In a sector facing staff shortages, attracting a new generation of early years professionals has become a strategic priority. Grandir invests heavily to make its roles visible, accessible and attractive.
Each brand has its own careers site, designed for smooth navigation and full transparency on every stage of the recruitment process. Application response times have been shortened and candidates are better supported.
Since 2025, every candidate for a nursery director role has undergone a comprehensive assessment of their management skills and professional approach. A tool to identify leaders who can grow their teams with commitment, accountability and a collaborative spirit.
'The Chaperons' Early Childhood Careers Event': online recruitment events where candidates can discover our roles and teams remotely.
Specialist job fairs — major events in the early years sector.
Careers fairs and speed-recruiting events — raising awareness of our roles and meeting candidates face to face.
Open days — a chance to discover their future workplace.
Admissions panels — playing an active part in selecting future professionals.
Educational conferences — in person or online, to share our expertise.
